A petition filed in the Supreme Court against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharifs victory in two constituencies at same time would be heard today. Mian Shahbaz Sharif was elected Chief Minister Punjab after winning unopposed from Bhakkar at the seat of provincial assembly. At the same time, he was declared victorous unopposed from PP-10 Rawalpindi. Shahid Orakzai filed a writ petition in Islamabad High Court against Shahbaz Sharifs eligibility. The petition maintained that after the notification of winning from Rawalpindi, CM Punjabs Bhakkar seat would be conceived as vacant and resultantly, his election for CM post would become ineffective. A bench consisting of Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Raja Fiyaz Ahmed and Justice Sair Ali would hear the writ petition.
