ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that verification of votes in four constituencies is vital to strengthen democracy in the country.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, PTI chief Imran Khan said that almost seven months had passed and the process of thumbprint verification for votes in four constituencies had not been completed. Khan said the government was creating hurdles for the election tribunal.
In response to US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel warning Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that the US could stop aid if Pakistan failed to ensure security for the Nato supply route, Khan said there was a lesson which should be learned from this statement.
