Summary
Electricity supply to many areas of Balochistan including Quetta was suspended due to a technical fault at Sibbi Grid Station. The power cut plunged Balochistan into darkness. The areas where the electricity was suspended include Quetta, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Khazdar, Chaman, Mastong, Qalat and Loralai. According to officials, these areas are being provided alternative supply from Uch Power Plant. Administration said work is continued to restore the electricity supply to Sibbi and adjacent areas.
