Opposition leader in the National Assembly said delay by the government in appointment of judges has made the matter disputed.Addressing the National Assembly, Chaudary Nisar said that government has turned the direction of barrels towards the judiciary. He said for one persons safety, the entire system has been put on stake. He revealed that late night meetings have been arranged with the judges and the government should clarify the procedure for transfer and promotion of the judges. He further said that discrepancies have been pointed out in Asian Development Bank report on rental power plants project. He asked the PM should make an investigative committee to probe the matter.
