KARACHI (Web Desk) - Sindh Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution demanding a change in the schedule of Local Bodies elections.

The resolution was jointly by PPP‚ MQM‚ PML-N and PML-F

The members of Sindh Assembly said free and fair elections were not possible within the earlier announced time-frame and requested for a delay.

The Election Commission of Pakistan had announced that local body polls will take place on November 27 in Sindh.

Speaking to media, MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari said holding elections under the current system will be unconstitutional.

He said MQM had already raised objections over the process and arrangements of the local bodies elections.
