Summary Witnesses have been reissued summons as they did not present in the court on due date.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) Anti Terrorism Court has admitted the petition filed on the behalf of ex-president Pervez Musharraf for exemption from appearing in the court for one day.
The court also has issued summons to the witnesses as they were absent from the court.
ATC judge conducted hearing of Judges Detention Case against former military dictator Pervez Musharraf. Advocate Ilyas Siddiqui moved a petition for exemption of his client for one day in the court due to security reservations.
The court reviewed the issue and accepted the plea and adjourned the court till November 26.
So far as witnesses of the case are concerned, they did not appear in the court without any justification; so the court reissued summons to them with the direction to present in the court on next hearing November 26.
The counsel on the part of Musharraf was of the view that he would also argue in favour of the plea filed for permanent immunity of his client from appearing in the court.
Witness Anwar Dar Advocate while talking to the media said that Musharraf was tried in all cases on poor grounds which would benefit him a lot.
Advocate Abdul Aziz Chandio was of the view that if the government shows its apology for security of Pervez Musharraf, this issue can be reviewed from specific point of view.
