The audit report prepared by the Asian Development Bank regarding the installation of rental power plants having important revelations have been surfaced.According to the report, electricity prices would go up by 45 percent after the installation of rental power plants, while more than 5 billion dollars would be paid to power plants in five years. The report further says immediate end to load shedding is not possible instead of installation of 14 rental power plants of 2250MW, adding, at least electricity prices would have to be increased by 24 percent in case 8 power plants are installed and the installation of 8 more plants would end load shedding after one year. According to media report, Asia Development Bank says the agreements are such that if one signing it and fled to London but to whom payment would be made.
