A few hours after presenting recommendations against drone attacks to National Security Council, 2 US drone attacks were carried out, killing 11 militants.According to sources, first attack took place in Zarnai, 30 kilometers from Tehsil Meer around 8.30 pm last night. Four missiles were fired from the drone, killing 5 militants instantly. Then two hours later in Bachi, area of Tehsil Ludha, a drone fired two more missiles on a house, in which 6 more militants were killed. According to official sources, two drones had been flying in the area since morning. This was the ninth attack of US drones since last month. It is also reported that two days earlier, Taliban leader Hakim Ullah Mehsud was also injured during a drone attack. Although Taliban released a video message yesterday stating that Hakim Ullah Mehsud is alive and in good health.While on the other side official sources have confirmed that Taliban leader Halim Ullah Mehsud got injured in the US drone attack carried out in South Waziristan. Hakim Ullah Mehsud was made the central leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban after Bait Ullah Mehsuds death due to a drone attack on 5th august 2009.
