President Zardari has said that PPP is pursuing politics of reconciliation, adding that his party members always showed democratic attitude.Talking to senior journalists at Governor House, Lahore, Zardari said that war on terror was a big challenge for his government, however, national unity made the operation in this regard a success. He reiterated governments commitment to extend the fruits of democracy to public.He vowed to keep the media free, adding that the incumbent government backed the former.He urged the media to play role to help boost democracy and strengthening of national institutions in the country.The journalists who met the President today include Majeed Nizami, Mujeebur Rehman Shami, Ikram Shahid, Baidar Bakht, Rehmat Ali Razi and others from both electronic and print media.
