Balance being restored between powers of President, PM: Gilani
Prime Minister Yousaf Gilani said that balance is being restored in powers of President and Prime Minister. He said that some elements are spreading desperation but there is no need to be worried and the government will complete its 5-year term. Addressing the parliamentary meeting of allied parties in Islamabad, the PM said that the government has faith in supremacy of constitution and democracy. He said that success in war against terrorism, promotion of reconciliatory politics, accord on NFC award and Balochistan package are the landmark achievements of the present government. He said that terrorism is the main problem facing Pakistan but US cannot repeat demand of do more. He said that it was disclosed to the Indian PM Manmohan Singh at Sharam al-Sheikh meeting that India should take back step on interference in Balochistan.
