Summary Rangers and police arrested 37 suspects during targeted operation in various areas of Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Rangers launched a raid in Manghupir area on a tip-off that some terrorists are present in the area.
House-to-house search was carried out during targeted operation after which Rangers arrested 11 suspects. At least 28 weapons including 3 SMGs and two 12 bore rifles were also recovered from arrested persons.
Rangers also conducted targeted operations in Lyari, Landhi, Orangi Town, Safoora Goth, Korangi and Gulshan Iqbal and arrested 18 suspects. Those who were arrested also included gang war members and activists of some political parties. Huge cache of arms were confiscated from the arrested people.
Meanwhile, police arrested six accused from Baloch Colony after encounter and recovered six pistols and 30 stolen mobiles from their possession.
Police also arrested two dacoits from Nabi baksh area, According to police, they were wanted by police in several cases of robberies and street crimes.
