QILA SAIFULLAH (Dunya News) – At least nine people have been killed in different road accidents in Karachi and Multan on Sunday.
Five persons were killed and twenty five injured as a recklessly driven passenger bus overturned on National Highway.
Sources said that the death toll is feared to rise, as some of the injured are critical.
Police said that five persons including women and children were killed, while 25 sustained injuries, when a passenger bus overturned on National Highway near here. Several passengers are still trapped inside the bus, while efforts are afoot to rescue them by cutting the bus, police said.
The injured are being shifted to Civil Hospitals in Qila Saifullah and Quetta.
In another accident, a couple was killed in Muzaffarabad. The heirs protested after blocking the main road and demanded the arrest of the driver.
