ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that anti-terrorism strategy has been prepared in light of All Parties Conference and will soon be presented in the Federal Cabinet for approval.

Responding to a question‚ Sartaj Aziz said we should not talk over media about dialogue process with Taliban as it is a sensitive matter.

To another question‚ Sartaj Aziz said Senior Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has been released. However‚ he said he has nothing to do with Taliban in Pakistan. He will play his role in Afghan reconciliation whenever assigned. He said too much expectations from his are unrealistic.

Answering a question‚ he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit United States on the invitation of President Obama.

He said framework of Pak-US relations after US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014 will be discussed during the visit. He said currently Pak-US relations are being viewed in the context of Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan and US have many common interests and concerns including trade‚ defence and other fields which will be discussed during Prime Minister's visit to Washington.

Sartaj Aziz Pakistan wants a new era of close cooperation with the United States after US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Answering a question‚ he said Pak-US strategic dialogue will be beginning in the beginning of next year.

The national security advisor said decision has been made to appoint Ambassador in the United States but he refused to reveal the name. He said all appointments are being made on merit.

Replying to a question‚ he said a meeting of Director Generals of Military Operations of Pakistan and India is expected this month.

Sartaj Aziz said national economy will suffer more‚ if we did not opt for IMF programme. He expressed the hope that the process of economy revival will soon begin.
