Summary Says PPP and PML-N have an understanding to give protection to each other’s corruption.

LAHORE (Online) - Ameer Jamaat e Islami Syed Munawar Hasan has said that Swiss government’s refusal to re-open corruption cases against ex-President Asif Ali Zardari, is the natural outcome of the PPP-PML-N collusion for protecting the plunderers of public wealth.

In a statement here on Wednesday, he said the friendly Opposition comprising the PML-N kept a criminal silence on the issue involving secret transfer of the looted billions to foreign banks.

It was only because of the secret deal between the PPP government and the friendly opposition that the apex court failed to retrieve the looted money as both the parties had ganged up to protect the thieves.

He said the Supreme Court orders were not implemented only because the PPP government did not fear a tough stand on the issue from the friendly opposition, rather there was a green signal from the so called opposition in this respect.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the PPP’s role on opposition benches now was exactly the same as had been of the PML-N during the PPP rule.

The JI Ameer observed that if the Swiss authorities had refused to reopen cases against Zardari, there were courts in Pakistan where the outgoing President could be tried if the government so desired.

But he said, the present rulers had given a clear chit to Asif Ali Zardari and allowed to leave the country.

He said that the conduct and the policies of both the PPP and the PML(N) were the same.

The PML-N leadership that had been promising breaking the begging bowl, had picked up a much bigger begging bowl and obtained huge loans from the IMF thereby pushing the country into Zionist slavery.

He said the rulers had obtained loans on most insulting terms because of which the prices of POL and electricity tariff were being raised at short intervals, and this was leading to the rise in prices of each and every thing.
