Summary Says transparent elections are not possible under current political system.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that the opinion of the masses has become crystal clear after decisive victory of the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) in Faisalabad.

Addressing press conference on Tuesday, he said that rigging in general elections is unacceptable, adding that such elections used to be held in the era of dictators.

Election like this cannot promote democratic system in the country, he added.

He warned that if justice was not delivered, angry masses would come to streets for their rights.

He made it clear that the nation is seeking justice from chief justice of Pakistan who should play his role in this regard and arrange impartial investigation into the matter without showing any leniency to any political party.

He added that he was emphasizing holing of fair elections only in order to discourage further rigging in next elections.
“The election tribunal judge tendered his resignation because he was being pressurized by hidden elements”, he said.

He asked who would put the election commission on trial.

Throwing light on current situation of inflation, he said that the country has not seen such horrible inflation in its history within such short period.

Imran Khan contended that the poor people are being crushed by the burden of undue taxes and corruption.

He said that the rich class in the country is free of every kind of taxes while the poor are bound to face burden of undue taxes and other responsibilities. That is absolutely against the true spirit of the law and constitution.
