Summary An armed encounter between police and dacoits continues for the past 14 hours in DG Khan.
DERA Ghazi KHAN (Dunya News) – At least two policemen were martyred while two dacoits were killed in an armed encounter between police and dacoits in DG Khan which is going on for the past 14 hours.
According to details, police cordoned off Jhock Rohail area after getting information that dacoits are present in the area.
On seeing police, dacoits opened fire and killed Sub-inspector Irshad and Sun-inspector Mujtaba while another police official sustained injuries.
Reinforcement was called in to control the situation. RPO Dera Ghazi Khan is supervising the operation. At least two dacoits were also killed in the encounter.
