BANNU (Dunya News) - At least three security personnel were killed while nine others injured in explosions at check posts in Bannu and Peshawar on Sunday.

An explosion on Bannu-Miranshah Road left three security officers dead and eight others injured. A curfew was imposed in the area following the blast. The injured were taken to Bannu Combined Military Hospital, where the hospital management declared the injured out of danger.

The blast was reportedly detonated by a remote controlled device and was targeting a security forces car.

Meanwhile, an improvised explosive device (IED) planted near a check post in Karkhano market went off, injuring one security personnel in Peshawar.
