PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A heavy explosion that ripped through the Qissa Khawani Bazaar has killed 37 people while injured 70 others. According to initial details, the blast took place near Kabuli police station.
The security forces cordoned off the area while rescue teams were seen shifting the injured to nearby hospital.
Tension and panic gripped the area soon after the blast. Several vehicles were destroyed while windows of shops and nearby buildings shattered in the blast.
Meanwhile, police confirmed the blast and said it occurred in a vehicle, parked near the police station.
It is important to mention that twin explosions at All Saint s Church in Peshawar s Kohati gate area killed 80 people and wounded over 100 others on 15th of this month.
