PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - At least six suspects have been detained today (Tuesday) during investigation of Sunday s terrorist attack on a Peshawar church.
Also, hand grenades and two pistols have been recovered from the blast site.
According to investigation officers, the attackers were not foreigners and further investigation is underway to ascertain their identity.
Earlier, the special investigation team made a startling revelation that one of the suicide bombers could possibly be a young lady aged between 20-25 years.
Today, the death toll from twin suicide bombings rose to 83 as two more victims succumbed to their injuries at the city s Lady Reading Hospital.
The attack on All Saints church in the northwestern city is believed to be the deadliest ever to target the country s small Christian minority.
