LONDON (Dunya News) – MQM chief Altaf Hussain has demanded the creation of new provinces in the country.
Addressing a joint meeting of London and Karachi Rabita Committee, he said an urgent APC should be called in order to create new provinces.
“This will end the sense of deprivation among small national and linguistic units and help resolve the outstanding issues in the country,” Altaf said. He said that formation of new provinces would ensure welfare, security and prosperity in the country.
Altaf said no attention had been paid to the rapidly increasing population of the country. He said that no administrative changes were made or measures were taken for good governance in the country.
Altaf Hussain appealed to the intelligentsia and leaders of the country to guide the nation and suggest steps for the consolidation of the country.
It is worth mentioning here that MQM is one of the main political parties that have been raising the voice for new provinces during the tenure of the previous government.
