IMF approves $6.70 billion loan for Pakistan

Summary Loan will be given in 3-monthly installments in three years period.

ISLAMABAD (Online): International Monetary Fund has given approval to grant six billion and 70 million dollars debt for Pakistan.

According to media reports, this loan will be given to Pakistan in installments within three years period and installment will be issued after every three months.

First installment of this debt will be worth of 540 million $ and other amount would be granted after checking economic condition of the country.

According to IMF, this amount was issued under its programme with an aim to reduce financial deficit and to upgrade economic conditions of the country.
