PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Monday said Baloch people should be given social and political justice if their wounds are to be healed. He said only verbal promises are not enough to take angry people on board. The PML-N chief further said the country would not have been facing present situation, had Charter of Democracy (CoD) been implemented.Nawaz Sharif held separate meetings with Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani, members of provincial cabinet, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party Chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Jamhoori Wattan Party President Talal Akbar Bugti in Quetta. Taking to media, Nawaz said people of Balochistan should be given their due rights to resolve problems of the province. He insisted to constitute a commission for finding the reasons behind Akbar Bugtis murder. He also demanded to release all missing persons. Nawaz said abolition of 17th amendment will bolster the democracy and no dictator will dare to attack the constitution in future. Earlier, addressing the meeting of PML-N Organizing Committee at Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasirs residence, Nawaz Sharif said seeking pardon from Baloch people without resolving their issues will not help the cause. He demanded to bring perpetrators of Nawab Akbar Bugtis murder to justice. Assassination of Akbar Bugti on personal differences is not tolerable. Nawaz refuted the allegations of friendly fire on restoration of judges and NRO issue.
