Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has ruled out contention between army and government, saying that all the institutions are working in their limits.Talking to media after visiting the houses of Constable Ilyas and Constable Aftab, who died in Melody Market suicide blast in Islamabad, Gilani rejected the notion regarding deadlock in scrapping of 17th amendment, adding that he was 200 percent sincere to do away with this constitutional distortion. The premier said that no clash would arise if army, judiciary and parliament work in limits.He noted that public backed the government, adding that people have elected them for five years and they would be accountable only before public in this regard. Replying to a question, the PM said that the US base has not been finished rather shifted from Sihala.He said compensation of Rs2million will be given to the families of martyred officials of Islamabad police and Frontier Constabulary, besides giving jobs to their children. Moreover, 2,000 flats would also be constructed for police in federal capital and 0.3million rupees would be given for their childrens study, he added.
