Any adventurism will result in mayhem: Army Chief

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani said Friday reiterated that Pak Army is ever ready to cope with any new challenge and conventional or unconventional threats.Addressing senior military officials at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi, Army Chief said situation will get out of control in case of any dangerous adventurism. Pak Army is always ready to cope with any threat with the support of the nation. However, peace in South Asia is core point of Pakistans principles. Kayani vowed to maintain minimum deterrence to fight any aggression. Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and the army is implementing peace keeping policy of the government, he added.
