Summary At least 13 people were killed in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi on Sunday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The wave of target killing has been intensified in Karachi and claimed lives of 13 innocent people during the past 24 hours.
According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Ibrahim Haidri area and shot dead Rahil and Amir. The deceased were activists of a political party.
Another man was gunned down in Ayub Goth area of New Karachi while two persons were killed in target killing incident in Sarjani Sector 7-A area.
Miscreants also shot dead a man in Zia Colony area of Korangi while another man was killed in firing incident in Bilal Colony of Korangi.
Police have also recovered a dead body from Gulistan-e-Johar Block 12. Police sources said that the deceased was tortured and then shot dead after abduction. The identity of the deceased is not yet known. Police have shifted the dead body to Civil Hospital.
Police have also recovered a dead body, packed in gunny bag, from Bakra Peeri area in Lyari. According to police the deceased was killed after being badly tortured.
Some unidentified persons opened fire and shot dead a man in Lines Area in the jurisdiction of Brigade Police Station. The dead body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital. Another man was killed near Northern bypass area.
