QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has decided not to boycott upcoming presidential election in Balochistan.
According to sources, the PML-Q members of Balochistan Assembly will cast their vote in favour of PML-N nominee Mamnoon Hussain.
It is worthy to mention that the deputy speaker also belongs to Q-league and it is likely that the party will get several ministries in provincial cabinet in the coming days.
Earlier, several members of Q-league were also present during a meeting of PM Nawaz with PML-N parliamentary delegation.
The presidential election is set to take place on July 30.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) representative Mamnoon Hussain and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed will be competing for the post of the president of Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) decided to withdraw its candidate Raza Rabbani when it boycotted the elections as a protest against the ECP for changing the dates of the elections without taking all stakeholders into confidence.
