ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Saturday expressed resentment over the report submitted to him regarding the Nandipur Power Project.
He directed the Secretary Planning to resubmit a comprehensive report before July 25.
The report was supposed to investigate the causes in the delay of the project and consequent hike in its cost.
The PM also directed the secretary planning to pinpoint those who were responsible for the delay.
On the other hand, the machinery for the construction of the power plant has reached the site and work on the project is about to start.
Meanwhile, PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has Saturday expressed surprise over the rise on the cost of the project.
