Federal govt to cooperate KPK in solving energy crisis: Khawaja

Parvez Khattak says the federation has assured to solve the loadshedding issue of the province.

 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Friday assured Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Parvez Khattak that all problems of the provinces relating to power will be resolved on priority basis.

 

The Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif expressed these views in a meeting with Chief Minister, KPK, Parvez Khattak in Islamabad. They discussed matters pertaining to energy crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


Talking to newsmen after their meeting‚ Khawaja Asif said all problems of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa relating to power will be resolved. He said the province is getting full share of its quota which will be increased once the supply of power improves.

 

Speaking on the occasion‚ Chief Minister Parvez Khattak said the federation has assured to solve the problems of the province on preferential basis.


He said previous government did nothing to upgrade the power grid. He said we will upgrade the system in three years time.
