LONDON (Dunya News) – The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) aired a documentary on Wednesday in which Dr Imran Farooq murder case, money laundering, political influence and threats and several other issues were discussed.

After the documentary, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar presented his party’s stance on these issues. He said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain has never harmed anyone.

He also denied that money was recovered from Altaf Hussain’s London house and that MQM was involved in money laundering.

British Broadcasting Corporation Two (BBC Two) has claimed that 0.4 million pounds were found during London police raids at the office of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Altaf Hussain’s residence. The raids were conducted on December 06, 2012 and June 18, 2013.

Farooq Sattar alleged that the BBC’s documentary on Altaf Hussain was influenced by pro-Taliban elements.

He also stated that no threatening statements were issued from London to trigger violence in Pakistan.
