Rape of PIA's medical officer: body formed for inquiry
Managing Director has constituted a committee to conduct an inquiry into the matter.
LAHORE (Dunya News):-PIA’s female medical officer moved an application against five persons including Deputy Chief Medical Officer, ambulance driver and Lab Assistant. The victim also has mentioned a video recording regarding the tragic incident.
Reviewing the sensitivity of the issue, Managing Director has ordered to form an inquiry committee which has reached Lahore for further action.
According to preliminary investigation, the incident occurred in a club situated in the area of Cantt.
PIA’s spokesman Mashhud Tajwar is of the view that the convicts would be brought to justice without any discrimination.
On the other hand, Punjab Health Minister Tahir Sindho has taken notice of the above-mentioned rape case and said that he was handling the matter on the direction of Chief Minister.
