SC sets up monitoring cell under Justice Rabbani

Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday has established a monitoring cell aimed at keeping an eye on the progress of reopened cases of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) beneficiaries.Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has designated Justice Ghulam Rabbani as head of the monitoring cell. According to the announcement, similar cells have also been established at all the four High Courts where the concerned Chief Justices will monitor the progress and the proceedings in all NRO-related cases.
