LHC adjourns hearing of load shedding case till July 11

Summary Court asked authorities that what measures will be taken during month of Ramzan.


LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court on Friday adjourned hearing of electricity load shedding case till July 11.

 

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Umar Ata Bandial heard the case.

 

During case proceeding, petitioner’s lawyer told court that government seems helpless to tackle electricity load shedding issue.

 

Uniform load shedding isn’t being carried out in the country, the lawyer said.

 

On this, Justice Umar Ata Bandial questioned that what measures have been taken to control load shedding during the holy month of Ramzan.

 

He stated that government should take practical steps to deal with the issue.

 

In this regard, the court sought reply from the federal government and adjourned hearing of the till 11th of next month.
