ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talks between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are underway.

Pakistan hopes to get three to $5 billion loan if the talks succeeded today.

Sources said that Islamabad seeks loan on easy installments and if the IMF demanded increase in gas and power tariff after every three months, Pakistan would drop the plan to borrow loan.

The sources further said if Pakistan fails to get loan from IMF, it would seek letter of comfort for holding dialogue with Asian Development Bank and World Bank.
