Summary Says Punjab government will cut expenses of CM's Secretariat by 30 percent.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman has said that the provincial government will take austerity measures to reduce the official expenses.
Addressing post-budget news conference here on Tuesday‚ the minister said expenses of Chief Minister s Secretariat have been reduced by thirty percent while of non-development expenses of other departments by fifteen percent. He said that the special attention will be paid on the education‚ health and energy sectors.
Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman said that more than twenty billion rupees have been allocated for the energy sector.
