ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-Islamabad High Court resumed hearing of petition filed against the appointment of IG Islamabad Binyamin’s son Umar Amin as Director Bomb Disposal Squad.
The court has ordered to submit the appointment letter of of Umar Amin.
IHC Chief Justice Muhammad Kasi conducted hearing of the petition filed by former director Bomb Disposal Squal Major (rtd) Tabassam who claimed in his petition that IG Islamabad has violated departmental rules and regulations while appointing his son Umar Ameen as Director Bomb Disposal Squad.
The court was told that the petitioner, Major (rtd) Tabassam, was replaced by Umar Ameen, the accused, despite the former was entitled to enjoy the same office till 2014 according to the contract.
After hearing preliminary discussion, the court ordered the petitioner to attach the suspension notification of the petitioner and appointment letter of the accused before the court.
