ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ministry of Finance has released 5 billion rupees out of 22 billion as directed by the Prime Minister to supply fuel to power plants to reduce load-shedding.
Secretary Water and Power told Senate Standing Committee on Water and Power in Islamabad on Friday that conversion of thermal power plants to coal will take one and half year.
The meeting also reviewed the existing power situation in the country.
