ISLAMABAD (Online) - The PML-N has announced that its government will retain Benazir Income Support Programme.
A BISP spokesman quoted PML-N Leader Ahsan Iqbal as saying that the programme will be made more targeted to benefit vulnerable segments.
The spokesman said the coming government intends to rename the programme as Pakistan Income Support Programme.
He said the programme was launched under an act unanimously passed by both houses of previous parliament.
