KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold re-poll in the entire NA-250 constituency instead of 43 polling stations.
Addressing a sit-in via telephone from London, Altaf Hussain said that is due to certain unknown reasons that the crew and election material did not arrive at dozens of polling stations in NA250 on elections day; but, its blame also has been leveled against the MQM.
He said that people had gathered outside the EC office within one hour of MQM Coordination Committee call. Altaf Hussain said that upright people should be inducted in the Election Commission and people of entire NA-250 Constituency whether they were rich or poor should be given right of franchise.
