US Army General David Petraeus, who commands American troops throughout the Middle East and South Asia, says that Taliban and their leadership are present in different parts of Pakistan including Quetta. In an interview with National Public Radio of America, General Petraeus termed the leader of the Haqqani network the biggest concern for America. He praised Pakistans recent successes against militants, adding that Pakistan Army, politicians and religious leaders agreed on war against militants. He maintained that militants had been living in tribal areas since many years, adding that most of the militant groups were nurtured by America for war against Russia.
