ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that if voted to power, he will constitute a commission to probe Kargil and Mumbai incidents.
“The commission’s report will be made public and Indian government would also be informed. The war of terrorism cannot be won through the use of gun and bullets”, Nawaz claimed.
In an interview to Indian media, chief of PML-N added that after coming into power, the generals who were involved in Kargil incident would be brought to book according to constitution.
He said that terrorism is an international phenomenon and it cannot be rooted out through the use of gun but dialogue along other options would be used to surmount the menace of extremism, adding that it is essential that all stakeholders would sit and mull over the problem.
Replying to a question, he said that “I am not against the International Monetary Fund but the state should to stand on its own feet.
