MQM will not bow before terrorists: Altaf

Altaf Hussain says liberal parties will defeat terrorists agenda and MQM cannot be frightened.

 

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) Addressing a party gathering via telephone from London, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said the terrorists wanted to impose their so called sharia at gunpoint and wanted to form their favourite government in the country but they would not succeed in imposing their extremist agenda.


He said that Pakistan’s liberal parties have united and will unanimously defeat terrorists. “We are united and will save Quaid’s Pakistan”, Altaf said.


He said that more than 70 workers were killed in a series of blasts during last ten days while police committed crime of extra judicial killings of several people in the name of encounter.


Altaf said those who exploded bombs were not Muslims. He condoled with the families of the martyrs. He said that the terrorists wanted to frighten the workers of MQM but we will not be scared.


Altaf said some circles were of the opinion that terrorism was our internal affair. He said candidates of MQM were contesting elections from all over the country.


“The terrorists want to force the MQM to stay away from the polls, but we will not boycott the elections and will foil nefarious designs of terrorists” the MQM chief said.


Altaf Hussain said he welcomed the statement of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani that elections would be held on time.
