Security forces strengthen positions in South Waziristan

Security forces have cleared of militants the area of Asman Munza during operation Rah-e-Nijaat in South Waziristan while position has been strengthened in Kalal Ragzai area of Jandola sector. A rocket attack injured a soldier in Ladha Qila. According to ISPR, militants attacked areas of Pish Zayarat and Kam Narai with rockets, mortar guns and small arms; the security forces hit back firmly. According to ISPR, a soldier sustained injuries in clashes with militants during the clearance operation in Meer Khooni area of Rizmak sector. On the other hand, long tunnels were recovered during operation Rah-e-Rast in Chakral and Shagai areas of Swat. Nine militants were also arrested from different areas of Swat.
