Summary LHC has allowed former MNA Jamshed Dasti to contest polls from two constituencies of Muzaffargarh.
MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – Multan Bench of Lahore High Court on Monday allowed Jamshed Dasti to contest elections from NA-177 and NA-178.
Earlier, a local court had disqualified Dasti in fake degree case and sentenced him to three years imprisonment.
However, LHC Multan Bench had released him on bail after two days.
Dasti challenged his sentence and pleaded the court to allow him to contesting elections.
In his remarks during the hearing, Justice Ijaz said that Jamshed Dasti should keep his direction right whether he wins or loses.
