Summary The electricity shortfall in the country has reached 4,100MW due to shortage of fuel.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The electricity load-shedding has intensified across Pakistan especially in Punjab as shortfall has reached 4,100 megawatt. The shortfall has created a disastrous situation in the country.
The total power generation is recorded as 9,400MW against the demand of 13,500 MW. Therefore, people of urban as well as rural areas are bound to suffer at the hands of WAPDA which has pushed the country into abyss of degradation. The loadshedding in different cities and villages of Punjab has reached around 18 hours in a day.
