Constitutional Reforms Committee (CRC) has agreed to restore Prime Ministers authorities of Chief Executive, Dunya News reported Tuesday.According to sources, the meeting of the constitutional reforms committee reviewed article 90 and 91 of the constitution. After a detailed review of the authorities of Prime Minister, the commit agreed to restore the PMs jurisdiction as Chief Justice. The committee suggested that election of Prime Minister, Speaker and Deputy Speaker of National Assembly should be held soon after the general elections. The committee also suggested if a bill was lapsing; it should be presented in joint session of the parliament instead of arbitration committee. Talking to media Mian Raza Rabbani said he could not give any deadline regarding working of the committee however, he was trying that it completed as soon as possible.
