Musharraf decided not to involve Pak army in US attack on Afghanistan

Spokesman of former President Pervez Musharraf, Rashid Qureshi said on Saturday that Musharraf had decided not to make Pak Army a part of attack on Afghanistan by US lead coalition forces after 9/11.Talking in Dunya News show Tonight with Najam Sethi, Rshid Qureshi said United States was enraged after September 11 attacks on New Yorks World Trade Centre. At that time, Musharraf consulted key people and everyone suggested not to confront US. However, it was decided that Pak Army would not take part in the attack on Afghanistan by US lead coalition forces. Qureshi said Musharraf had always accepted criticism despite being a soldier and had always sought advice before making any decision.
