Sethi meets leaders of PML-N, PML-Q, JI
Caretaker Punjab CM Najam Sethi met with leaders of political parties on Thursday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi met with President of PML-N Nawaz Sharif and senior party Shahbaz Sharif. During the meeting‚ political situation in the province and holding of free and fair general elections were discussed.
The caretaker CM also met with PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and discussed with them the upcoming general elections in the province.
Meanwhile, Najam Sethi met with Ameer Jamat-e-Islami‚ Munawar Hassan and discussed matters relating to general elections.
Talking to media‚ the caretaker CM said the whole bureaucracy of Punjab will be changed in a week. He said the cabinet would be from five to six ministers and he was trying to bring the good character persons in his cabinet.
The caretaker CM said the IG Police Punjab would be appointed till Thursday evening in accordance to the Supreme Court s directives.
