Summary Nine people including Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman were killed on Wednesday.


KARACHI (Dunya News):-Despite tall claims of law enforcing agencies, peace in the metropolis could not be restored as nine more were killed in different incidents of violence.


The first incident occurred near Pir Abad police station where unidentified armed men opened fire on a car, killing Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman on the spot and escaped from the site.


In the same way, a man was gunned down in the area of Korangi. Likewise, another citizen Abdul Majeed was murdered in the area of Old Haji Camp.


Another man named Abid was shot dead mercilessly in Nia Abad.


Another citizen was assassinated in the area of Mali Khokhara Par while in the locality of Kaghzi Bazar, an innocent citizen was shot dead by miscreants who escaped from the site of occurrence after hitting their target.


Moreover, two disfigured bodies have been recovered from the Soldier Bazar and Nazim Abad.


Apart from this, dead bodies of a 12-year-old boy Muhammad Hussain and an innocent kid were recovered successively from Hijrat Colony and near Orneti Jaiti Bridge.
