Dunya News has received confessional statement of Attaullah, an accomplice of Tehreek-e-Taliban Darra Adam Khel Commander Tariq. He has confessed that he was involved in assassination of Polish Engineer earlier this year. He also confessed that he was involved in several incidents of terrorism and kidnapping for ransom on orders of Taliban, reported Dunya News on Sunday.According to the confession statement received by Dunya News, Attaullah while talking about polish engineers kidnapping, told that he was assured by Commander Tariq that this would get them not only the money but release of their accomplices also. While confessing many terrorist activities, he told that Commander Tariq had convinced him to work with the latter in Darra Adam Khel. Attaullah revealed that he along with Abdul Samad, Umer Farooq, Mufti Abdul Rasheed and Abdul Ghafoor conducted several terrorist activities killing dozens of persons, whereas, they also kidnapped several person for ransom.The Taliban of Darra Adam Khel Valley had announced on February 08, 2009 that they had beheaded Polish engineer Peter Stanczak, who was kidnapped from Pind Sultani area of Jund in Attock district of the Punjab on September 28 last year. The kidnappers had threatened to kill the Polish engineer if the Pakistan government didnt accept their demands by February 4. They extended the deadline by two days on the appeal of a Jirga of tribal elders and clerics reportedly sent by the government to negotiate Stanczaks release.
