Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued final notice for payment of Rs 1 billion to the defaulter government and non-governmental organizations including Presidency, Senate, and Federal Ministries. According to IESCO in Islamabad, it is said in the notice that electricity connections would be disconnected without any notice in case of non-payment of arrears till November 23. According to IESCO, federal government hospital, education ministry, chief commissioner Islamabad office, Hajj ministry and Punjab police are among the defaulters.According to list issued by IESCO, President Secretariat has to pay 21.6 million rupees, Azad Kashmir government 13 lac rupees and Immigration and Passport Secretariat 15 lac rupees. Other arrears include 11.6 million rupees on Punjab police, 12 lac on Sindh House and 56.5 million rupees are unpaid in electricity bills by TMA Rawal Town.
